Exploring the impactful interconnection of The American West, spaghetti westerns, and Matthew Wong.

Inspired by Canadian Modern Artist Matthew Wong’s love of the arts, poetry, and Westerns such as ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’ by Sergio Leone, this reimagining of Wong’s exhibition recently on display at Boston’s Museum of Fine Art hopes to further share the background and references to both Wong’s vibrant personality, as well as exploring his real-world Western influences through found archival visuals, an interactive website, and AR filter.

The exhibition's branding includes an AR Instagram filter, a Figma-interactive website, social media, and an exhibition preview video. 2024 academic project.
