Selection of full spreads from ANCHORA, an editorial series examining the lived experience of Latin Americans. The issue’s title reclaims the often derogatory term of “anchor babies” and documents immigrants through individual profiles, conversations, and photo essays.
Stories highlight Latin American figures in arts, design, and current culture, focusing on impact, importance, education, and the creation of a new history. Typeset in Basic Sans by Daniel Hernández of LatinoType, a Chilean typefoundry.
Created during Fall 2024 Graphic Design Studio and completed in Spring 2025.
